A Acorn Lock & Safe was founded in 1991 by Mark Buscemi in Weston Florida as a one-man operation. Now, almost 30 years later, the company has grown to 6 service technicians and an administrative staff that are ready to handle all your security needs.
We are a full-service locksmith company serving Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties. We provide service to homes, businesses, commercial institutions, homeowner’s associations, and more. Our technicians have over 90 years combined experience and can handle most service calls in one visit.
Some of the many services we provide are: lock-out services, keys, installation and repair of all types of locks, rekeying and masterkeying of lock cylinders, access control systems, overhead gate locks, emergency exit devices, mortise cylinders, door closers, door repairs, interchangeable core locks, door hinges and door pivots, safes sold and serviced, garage door keypads, keyless entry and door viewers. We feature high-security locks from Medeco and Mul-T-Lock. We are also authorized distributors and installers of EMTEK, a top quality designer hardware line.

Mark Buscemi is the founder and president of A Acorn Lock & Safe, Inc. and has been servicing South Florida for almost 30 years. Originally from Deer Park, New York, Mark relocated to South Florida in 1987 and founded his business four years later in 1991.
Mark is a husband to his wife of 30 years, Annette, and a father to two children, Leondro (27) and Theresa (23). Mark is a parishioner of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church and has served as both an usher and as a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 10 years. He has, for the last 5 years, been an active member of Business Networking International, an organization through which he convenes and networks with other professional organizations in South Florida; he also served as president for 1 year.
Mark also held several leadership roles in the Boy Scouts of America for a total of 18 years, 11 of which were as Scoutmaster for Troop 183 in Davie, Florida. Mark is a fan of Marvel comics, Star Wars, and anything outdoors. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking with his kids, watching Marvel movies, and spending quality time with his family.
